The Reviewer’s Dilemma

Lately I’ve been thinking about how I want to approach these book reviews.

I don’t want to savage anyone’s work; I know how hard it is to write a book—even a bad one. But I’m not the fastest reader, and I’ve committed myself to one hundred reviews. I don’t have the luxury of skipping books that bored or annoyed me. So a couple days ago, I took the plunge and posted my first blatantly negative review.

In hindsight it might not have been such a good idea to start with an enormously popular book.

  1. Hi! Too cute, too cute. Your vlog title is misleading though;I thought you were going to bash Book #1--which really shocked me. However, after watching it I see you are just "bashing" Book 3.

    "War is bad"--LOL.

  2. Thanks, Heather! You're right, though, the title might be a bit misleading. Oops.

  3. I'm really anxious to read the 2nd and even the 3rd. I'll let you know what I think. I can't stay away even if the review is bad! I have to know the conclusion...it's like an obsession with me when I start something that is a series.

  4. I'm the same way Jaime! I regret having read the Twilight series, but as I had started it... I had to finish it. Now, I wonder why I wasted my time??? lol
